With 2015 being our inaugural year and most people still wondering about the who, what, where and when Day of Music Fullerton is, we invited an eclectic group from our local media to enlighten them about our June 21st event and to help us spread the word.
Represented that evening at Duesenberg Guitar’s hidden HQ location were staff/writers/contributors from KCET’s Artbound, OC Register, OC Weekly, Orange Coast Magazine, Inspire Artistic Minds, Locale Magazine, Titan Radio, The Mat Magazine, 7 Deadly Mag and 714 Media.
Our guests of honor were Phyllis Fender and Mayor Greg Sebourn. Also in attendance were Burger Records founders Lee Rickard and Sean Bohrman and our sponsors Joel Eckman Maus of Studio EMP and Wade Zylstra of Lux Salon and Spa. OC Weekly’s web editor Taylor Hamby indulged us by being our muse for the night, decked out in a Day of Music Fullerton ensemble handcrafted by two of our organizers.
A big thank you goes out to Duesenberg Guitars for graciously allowing us to host our event in their gallery-like showroom and to Colette’s Events and Catering Extraordinaire and Cocktail Minglers for generously sponsoring food and beverage, respectively.
We are very grateful to everyone who has offered us so much support so far. It’s been a long and winding road to get to June 21st. We were happy to let loose for one night.
